I have been loading for about 4 years now, and feel pretty comfortable doing it. My son recently was given my Fathers Mod. 94 in .32 Win. Spc., and I wanted to roll some ammo for him. I bought some Speer 170gr. jacketed and Oregon Trail 170gr. cast. I used the standard loading data for the cast, and was surprised that the cast loads would not chamber. I called Oregon Trail, and the nice lady there told me the correct seating depth was not the industry standard 2.565". but 2.395". The only way to get the info is call them, they don't print it on the box, or show it on their website. The links to loading info sites on their website were of no use, as they did not even list the .32 Spc. Learn something new now and then. Regards.

If you are comfortable reloading, you should already know that every bullet has its own COL and how to determine it before you load a number of rounds.
Now, take the next step and become a handloader... -
Make up that 1st dummy round checking it for fit & function.Comment
