Got my 6 year old loading

I was cleaning out the garage today and my daughter saw the presses and wanted to see what it's used for and how it works. Well, she ended up loving it and asked if she can help me reload! Made my heart skip a beat!

good job man! I love the stress on safety gear that you teach your daughter (gloves and eyepro). Way to do your part actually teaching and having them respect 2A and associated fundamentals!

Be ever mindful of lead exposure. My little ones love loading too but we are constantly washing hands and keeping fingers out of eyes and mouths.

Outstanding. Nice to see that some kids are raised right. It reminds me of my nephews many years ago. Great job keeping safety first.

Most excellent. Teaching at a young age that work produces results. This little one may never need an EBT card.

That's fantastic. My 16 year old daughter loves to reload. She thrives on the science, the details. Finds it fascinating. And boy, when you have an assistant who knows what she is doing, you can really crank out the rounds. I was going to get case feeders for the LNL's butIi really won't need them until she goes off to college.
Then of course, we go shoot a bunch.

Oh, kudos on the safety measures.

Heh, didn't think of that. Might have CPS and a SWAT team at my door considering these terrible times we are in.

That is one of the reasons why I'm teaching/educating her about our 2A, firearms and ammo so she won't be afraid like some of the parents of her friends whom have never been around or actually seen a firearm/ammo in person. I'll never hide them from my kids but they'll always be in a secure place (locked). I drive the idea on a daily basis that firearms are not toys and she must respect them just like any other tool or utensil. They're not animated objects that grow legs and are bad. She won't pick them up, touch them or get close to one if my wife and I are not around nor will she point the muzzle at anything or put her finger on the trigger unless we say so. Another good thing IMO that I've taught her is not to say we have firearms or anything else in that matter if her teacher or someone other than her parents asks. This includes doctors too.

She's been bugging me about hitting the range or BLM with me to shoot some steel lately. I think she's ready but not until I get her a 10/22. Might just start her off with an air rifle too.

Gave you thumbs up on your video. She's learning that work produces results. That's what I call responsible and proactive parenting.
