Die question

I'm shopping ebay for some dies so I can start reloading. I have an older RCBS press.

My question is do all dies(RCBS, Lee, Lyman, etc.) share a standard thread?

AFAIK, they all do. The only exception are the dies for the Dillon Square Deal B. If you've ever seen one in person, you'll know why. The Die Plate is so freaking small and the dies are so close together, the dies can't be the standard size.

All of the major brands use 7/8" x 14 TPI

The square deal and some older brands like Hollywood, Herters, etc may be different

Lyman all-american were 5/8" threads I think.
These are mostly going to be 40+ years old though.

I thought I read somewhere that they were compatible, but I wanted to be sure before I started bidding on stuff I couldn't use.

Lee loader

The lee loader is a hand die not a press die. I had a friend just buy a set off of ebay and bring them in.
