    How good is PSA?

I am just curious how good PSA is on their customer service. I just ordered the 6k ct of the Hornady 55gr HPBT projectiles. I asked for a coupon but I guess they didn't have any. Anyways they charged me $40 for shipping. It hasn't even shipped yet and today(one day later) it now says free shipping. Do you think they would credit my $40 back? Other option is to just cancel my order since it hasn't shipped yet and then reorder with the free shipping.

Now I could see if I ordered them 2 weeks+ ago, but 1 day? Maybe it's a moot point but I figured I would ask.

No- they won't! From personal experience, PSA's customer service is crap. Still waiting on my Magpul grip compartment covers from December of 2012..

And I truly doubt they will return any $$$ to you once they have it- horrible business ethics. I actually have been purchasing from other online vendors at a slightly higher price just to avoid PSA.

Oh yeah, and what does that have to do with reloading?? Haha

If it hasn't shipped yet, just cancel and reorder.

Apparently they can't edit the order once its been submitted.

PSA have decent pricing and their customer service is not terrible however, they cannot make changes to an order that is already placed. I believe you can have the order cancelled then order the same item again to get the free shipping.

Just call them up. Worse they can say in no and lesson learned. prices change all the time for everything. luck of the draw.

PSA has been very good to me. responsive to my emails. offer alternatives if somethings not in stock. In turn, ive spent several grand at PSA in the past year or so. I just bought another upper, arrived in 6 days.

Thanks guys. Just called them up. The guy I spoke with was really cool. He said that since it changed in a 24 hour period that he would refund me the money for shipping. Very very cool. I dont think they sell a ton of reloading stuff but they did have projectiles at a not so horrible of a deal$599 with free shipping for 6k Hornady 55gr Fmjbt.

I have had good luck except for a minor problem in Feb. or March. I ordered a stripped lower and had filled in my address as the shipping address rather than the FFL. This was my fault and at the apex of the "panic" buying going on. Other than that little foul up I have had excellent customer service.

I haven't had any problems with PSA thankfully. They are a little slow on the shipping but their prices were good for what I needed. I haven't bought ammo from them though, just an upper, LPK, an A2 stock, and a carry handle for my AR build. Everything I received was top quality.

Good to hear almost everyone else has had positive experiences with them. My buddy ordered an upper with them a few weeks ago. It said 15 days but who knows how long it will actually take.

On one hand I like PSA's products a lot. The middy AR I built from PSA parts is probably my favorite AR.

Customer service wise..well....I sent the email with the FFL info for the lower. Then I got another email saying I needed to send them the FFL so I sent it AGAIN. A week later I get a phone message saying they can't ship it without FFL. I called back within 5 minutes of the message but waited on hold forever to speak to someone and finally give them my FFL info for the third time. Then it was still like 2 more weeks before I got the lower to my FFL.
