    Reloading CBC 7.62 brass

I bought a box of CBC(magtech) M80 7.62x51 in the hopes of blasting through it with my new 700 and recovering the brass in the process.

I've tried resizing at least 10-15 pieces in my Lee full length die and neck sizing dies, and none of it will resize and fit in my chamber, even after trimming. Some of them seem to want to stick after firing(factory new loads) which I don't like, but I thought resizing and trimming would fix that.

My LC brass resizes just fine and chambers/ejects like butter, but I can't even close the bolt on this brass after sizing(both dies) and trimming.

So, am I missing something, or is stuff as junky as it seems? I was hoping to reload this stuff at least once, but it seem like more work than it's worth.
The actual value of above $.02 is less than $.01 after taxes.

I haven't tried reloading CBC brass (yet), however, my experience with it has been negative. In my N.M. M1A it would not cycle (case a bit stuck) and in my IDF Mausers the bolt usually had to be slapped open, again seeming indicating a case problem. Based on this experience, I'm not likely to put much effort into trying to reload it.

I've reloaded "CBC 12" marked cases and CBC commercial cases. They both resized and loaded up fine. Shot them in a tight chambered bolt gun.

My guess is your CBC cases may need a little more bump with the F/L sizing die. Turn your F/L die clockwise into the press another 1/12th-1/24th of a turn. See if that does it. It may be all that it needs.

Ditto. I have used many of both. Readjust your die, make it touch shell plate and the turn another 1/4-1/2 turn down.

Thanks guys, I'll try adjusting the die a little and see if that helps. I definitely won't be heartbroken if I can't get this stuff to work, but free brass is free brass
