Loading Berger bullets without redding die?

Is anyone finding this is neccesary? I'm finding this thread will not
Fit my press and there are no adapters. I don't want to buy a press just to load these. Bear with me I'm new at reloading.

No no. That is a replacement STEM for a DIE body. You either have a seating die you want to convert with this stem or you replace your seating die with a Redding Comp seating die.

Also I load VLDs all day with dillon's stock seater die, it's not ideal and I will soon go to a micrometer die but it's overkill unless you are going for sub MOA accuracy.

Well I bought a stiller action and put a broughton barrel with a McMillan stock. I'd like to shoot sub moa.

Get a die suited for the VLD bullets. It will load more concentric ammo. The difference will be small if you can't shoot well, but you will notice if you can shoot well. Remember, most VLD bullets want to be jammed or at least touching the rifling so make sure you work up a load slowly.

I actually use the Forster competition seating die for loading Berger 80gr VLD in .223 (and use the Redding competition seating die for traditional BTHP style bullets).

Ocabj I called Berger and they said the redding or the Forster will work fine. Thanks for all the replies you guys.
