H335 in .308?

Anyone use H-335 in .308 and if so how do you like it. I have about 4 lbs, gonna try to load some up using H-335 over 147Gr FMJBT loaded to match M-80 ball Specs. Quickload estimated load for 2750 FPS is a little different than the hodgdon website but not dramatically.

I've loaded some 110 gr vmax with H335 with decent accuracy, 1-2 moa. I then tried some 150 SSTs and the groups were starting to open up to about 2-2.5moa. Its not a match combo, but its safe. I like 748 for 150ish gr loads.

won't be a match load but should work fine. 46gr should put you right between 27-2800, give or take.

Should be a good powder my Sierra book sez 43-48.8gr for a 150gr bullet.

Many a Marine range record has been set with a .30 cal 147 FMJ H335 combination. What are they teaching you, 'yew', at the Stumps now days?
Anyone who knows what, "WWCD", means should know that BL-C, and W748 work equally great for 5.56 and 7.62.

^^^Those are actually WC844 (H335) and WC846 (BLC2) powders, but yes, both work great for milspec hand loading.

I use it with the 150g Hornady 3031 and have also used it with their 168g match bullets. Easy MOA out of a 788 and worked well anywhere from 38-43g. The strange thing with that gun and bullet (maybe it's just the nature of .308) is that the groups didn't seem to get any bigger or smaller as the loads changed, they just moved to a different POI while keeping about 1 MOA.

H335 also works great with 55g fmjbt 5.56 cartridges. Meters very well too.

Yep have used it to load both M193 and M855 speced ammo, got about 2 Lbs left and gonna load it to M-80 ball specs. Loaded some with 43.7 grains, it chronied at approx 2900 FPS, gonna test some at 43.0 grains
