    Cabelas and Scheels (Has Primers)

Just an FYI: Went to Cabelas and Scheels in Reno yesturady.
Cabelas has Almost all Primers in stock.
Scheels had CCI #41 Primers and lots of them, and some Shotgun primers.
They also had bulk Sierra .308 168gr. BTHP.
Neither had any powder worth mentioning.

In store? Because they sure don't have any primers online. A few shotshell primers and some muzzle loading stuff, but no rifle or handgun primers.

Thanks for the tip. Shame about no powder. Need some Alliant Extra Lite badly. Just don't want to pay hazmat.

Looks like a roadtrip to Cabela's Reno, it's been ages since I've been there. Maybe go during Hot August Nights, should be a hoot.

                  Buy them by the brick?
The last time I bought some there a few years ago during the Great Panic of '08, they only sold a hundred at a time, IIRC

100 at a time, now that is just silly (obviously)

Last time I was in Cabelas (Boomtown) buying reloading equipment, I bought 10K primers + 16lb of IMR4895. Can't wait for those days to return ..... hopefully ... sooner, rather than later ....

Edit. I should add that this was a number of years ago.

Slim pickins for primers at Cabela's now. I called and the only mil spec they have in stock is 50 cal. primers.

I was at Cabelas today and they had nothing as far as primers or powder. Did pick up some 100 rnd boxes of 9mm.

I got the last box of small rifle and a few boxes of small pistol yesterday. They had at least a dozen small pistol as of 2:00 yesterday. Nothing stays on the shelf long these days.
