    Shotshell reload with green dot?

I had a buddy of mine come accross what he thought was red dot. He brought it over to me, and it happens to be green dot (not sure how he messed up that one...). Anyway I am loading AA hulls with Win 209 primers and WAA12 wads, 1 1/8 oz of shot. Anyone know if I can use green dot, and if so how much? I can't seem to find it on the Alliant site anywhere. I did find a load on loaddata.com, but realy don't want a $30 yearly subscription I won't ever use...

    Noble Sport 209 primers
    Remington STS/nitro gold hulls
    WAA12SL wads - 1 1/8 oz
    #8 shot

18.5 grains of power - Green dot is my preference, but American Select (Alliant product aswell) works when I cannot find GD.

you must not have looked very hard, i found the reload tables in less than 30 seconds.

Green dot is a fine powder for 1 1/8 oz. I'm currently using Promo and it is extremely dirty.

        It's definitely on there. http://www.alliantpowder.com/reloade...eid=3&gauge=12

I used to use Green Dot all the time, until I acquired a bunch of old 473AA for a price I couldn't pass up.

ETA: I have to ask... What made him think it was Red Dot, and how did you identify it as Green Dot?

Saw the 7/8 oz load, just not one for the 1 1/8 I use. Not sure how he messed up on the powder. The big green dot on it is a dead giveaway though

It only showing me the 7/8 oz load ( I'm on my phone but I don't know why that would make a difference)
ETA: I googled it instead of going from the front page of the alliant website. Thats was why it didn't show up.

The powder should have a small percentage of green colored flakes.

Your load components are fully represented on www.alliantpowder.com
