300 BlackOut data (or lack thereof)

so my friend just got a BlackOut upper and is now on the same quest as everyone else to find ammo. i'm trying to help him look up load data, but there seems to be a void of data in the weight of bullet he has, which is 168gr. i have the lyman handbook, but i guess the 49th edition was before 300 BlackOut became recognized. online, we can find info for up to 140gr, then it seems to jump to 200gr+ after that. on a few random pages, i'll come across a hint of a similar bullet weight, but there won't be any real info there. even on a page with load data straight from nosler, it only goes up to 140gr. is there a reason for this? anyone able to point us in the right direction? if it helps, along with the bullets, he picked up a couple pounds of Lil'Gun powder. any help, tips, pointers, words'o'wisdom, etc would be appreciated. thanks!

People use up to 140gr because they get them to go 2200fps+.
People use 200gr+ because they will run subsonic.

True the 300BLK is a sammi round but data is a new frontier. For 150gr bullets 15-17gr of H110 worked well.

Double check all info.

i've gone through that bookee stuff in my search. unless i'm missing something, the only thing i can dig up from all of it that's even close to the components he has right now is info on a 165gr bullet with 8.8gr of lil'gun. my question from that would be why is the charge of lil'gun almost half of what the other listed (H110, Accurate 5744 and 1680) powders use? the fps is also 300-600 less than those as well. thanks for the replies so far.

Hornaday #8 has 300 Whisper data you want. No use of Lil'Gun tho. But it lists about 8 powder you can use with a 168g.

Look here for reloading manual caliber index. Looks like four books cover it so far (row 693 down), plus another 12 for whisper (row 738 down).
