    local bullet suppliers

Appreciate any information on where to buy bullets locally (SF bay area).
More specifically, any recommendations for a store or outlet selling 38 caliber, 148gr HBWC bullets? I'm starting to run low again and need to stock up for another couple of years.

The last lot I brought were from Bear Creek Supply. I was told they are no longer in business. Is there anyone else (locally) who makes and sell bullets? I'm hoping there is someone local I can buy from rather than pay shipping fees.

    TIA,

Not necessarily local, but Oregon Trail has free shipping through May 31 on orders over 1000 boolits.

Leave the cannoli, take the gun.

Try Redman Bullets. There here in CA. www.redmanbullets.com Prices are good and they have great customer service. Not just an operator that doesn't know anything. You can call him(Erik) and he'll answer all your questions.

A lot of out of state sellers have free shipping and then you save on sales tax. I just bought Plated SWCs from X-Treme Bullets They are in Carson City and have local pick up available. Time for a Reno roadtrip!

                The Redman list for 100x 9mm cast lead is $13. I've seen Speer GDHP's for $15 / 100. You can get bulk Winchester FMJ's at $9 - $10 / 100. You can get 2000 FMJ's for $140 from Delta Precision.

Sorry, typed it in backwards. The only thing about Precision Delta is that they don't ship to SF, LA or OC. Meaning the only metropolitan area in CA that they can ship to is San Diego.

I use their 38cal 148gr HBWC with the Match Lube. Best that you can get anywhere on the planet, since Star closed a few years ago.
