Horizontal stringing help

Can horizontal stringing be remedied by changing seating depth?

My savage front action screw is stripped and I can't make adjustment with the accustock torque. The stock is my suspect.

You need to fix the problem, and different seating depths won't do that. Fix the stock.

or your rest, if it is flat or allows the gun to swivel.
