Swedish Mauser Brass

I can pick between Prvi Partisan 6.5 x 55 once fired or I can use new Winchester brass. This is for a Kimber Model 96 Mauser. I will stay with the Swedish Mauser load data which is pressure below 44 or 45k. I will be using 140gr Sierra Game King bullets. I have just a few Lapua cases which is the standard (i guess) but will need at least 100 of whatever I use for sighting in and practice.

Norma brass is the standard in 6.5x55 IMO

Winchester brass is always a good reloader's choice, but i'm having really good luck with the PPU in 6.5x55 - I say use the PPU for now.

Might as well, I am sighted in with the PPU now. I have a neck sizing die but have never neck sized. Do you FL or neck size?

I FL new brass, then partially full length size after they have been fire formed in my rifle. I find this works best for most all necked cases.
I have a Redding full length sizer who's depriming rod broke that you can have if you want - either take the rod out if you do decapping alone or get another rod, i dunno.

I have both, Winchester and Prvi and I like then both. I fl size for now, plan to get a neck die in the future.

I use privi and win brass. both shoot well, but FWIW I did have trouble using the privi brass in a lee collet neck die. I have a redding neck only die that I love now.

i full-length size my 6.5x55 with no problems. have mostly win brass but Prvi is good quality stuff too. lots of good reload data for 6.5, don't load it too gentle. 140gr gameking is a great bullet for them too, that's what i use. as accurate as a matchking and you could hunt with it too. depending on your powder, they respond favorably to magnum primers.
