Thanks for all the response and help...
just wanna give you guys a update, after taking a couple of hours & cleaning the machine really really good. I didn't have a single problem with my 2nd batch of rounds. I contribute the problem to a couple things.

Yes... the primer wheel was a bit gummy from the case lube and there was bits of powder all around...

they say you can reload 400 rounds an hour but i think you should slow down a bit unless you want a 2% error rate

of course i get the few that dont want to seat and the ones i seat flipped

at 3 cents each it does get annoying after a couple
Actually, if you have the "blue press" it said the XL 650 loading rate is 800-1000 rds./hr. BUT, what I learned it TAKE YOUR TIME & GO SLOW!!!!
going at a slower pace I didn't have any flip-ups.

I probably did about that many too... I guess its natural for all reloaders.

As for the Bass casing, I'll try the oil but, I'm having second thoughts about loosing a finger or more trying to pry apart a live round just to save 1 bass...

    THANKS GUYS...!

The same thing was happening to me and the 2 screws below the shellplate were loose. Check them and report back.

Is it possible you are using the large primer tube in place of the small primer tube and they are kind of free falling through the tube and coming out goofy?

I've done this on occasion when switching from large to small and forgetting to change out all the parts..

Something else I didn't think of.. My 650 has issues with CCI primers.. it seems to jam with those causing all kinds of issues where using the other brand name (fed, WW, Rem) don't cause any issues at all.
