Lee Pro 1000 Questions..

I am new to reloading and have a few questions and I searched the net and came up with nothing.

My Lee Pro 1000 has three dies. So far it doesn't appear that any are "Belling" the case and none are tapering or crimping.

THis is a problem because I have lead bullets that are getting shavings everywhere.

I set up the press exactly as instructed in the manual and I have also watched many youtube video and came up with no answers...

Any help is appreciated.

oh its for .45 ACP and i have the standard three die set...

To get the "Bell" you need, set your second die "down" or toward the floor. This is the same die that the power charging unit is on. How far you turn "down" the die will determine the "bell" you get. The power charging unit must be attached to the the die for the "belling" to occur. You can test the "Belling" by running empty brass through the unit. Please don't have power or primers in the system.
