    Reloading 223/5.56 for S&W Sport

I have been using the following load with great results in my 1/8 and 1/9 twist S&W Sports.
    • NATO brass trimmed to 1.750”
    • 26.5gr of CFE 223 (using RCBS Little Dandy #26 rotor)
    • CCI #41 or WSR primer
    • Hornady 55gr fmj-bt or SP
    • RCBS AR 223/5.56 dies w/ Lee Factory Crimp Die
This load shoots as good as or better (2cm at 25 yards) than PMC Bronze, X-Tac 55gr or 62gr, Remington 55gr fmj, Winchester fmj, and wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than LC XM193 or XM855 in either rifle. I have loaded up to 27gr of CFE 223 with no noticeable improvement.
