For 123 scenars I was loading 37.5 grains of varget or rl-15. Although the rl-15 was really dirty.

I have found the 130 vlds to give me the best accuracy with h4350. Just some food for thought. Its good to see someone else shooting the 6.5 lapua.

    Good luck.

Check out the AccurateShooter.com forums for a lot of 6.5x47 data. It is popular among some bench rest shooters. Berger bullets has also done extensive testing with the round as well.

            +1.

Just out of curiosity do you have your bolt bushed? With a high pressure cartridge like the 6.5L, primer cratering and piercing may be your load limiter.

I had a bunch of Remington 7.5s so that is what I have been using.

A lot of 6.5x47 shooters have used the CCI 450s and the Russian primers.
