Phillips only carried lead wads I go there once a month lately and ballistic products and reloading specialties didnt list a phone number. Well one did but I called and the answering machine said they dont sell to the public

What are you trying to do? Are you shooting trap,Skeet? I have reloaded thousands of rounds with steel using a Lead wad to shoot trap. The club I belong to in Richmond only lets you use Bio wads and you must shoot steel.

steel wads are thicker than lead wads and they dont damage your barrel. Im loading these for waterfowl season when it comes around. I have loaded 100s of lead but I cant use lead for waterfowl hunting

If you are shooting Trap or Skeet loads the lead wad works great with steel. Every one at my club has used them for the last ten years at least, If you are hunting and using something other that #7 I agree you may wreck your barrel.

OP you are right as rain. I like about anything from Ballistic Products. But its trying waiting for them to come back into stock
