I guess you think they haven't thought about taxing components, banning lead, etc. Maybe just a gun store tax to cover everything they sell...the new sin tax for those evil gun nuts.Comment

I have an old RCBS, a Dillon 650 and a Redding T7 with two heads. I'd hate to load 9mm on anything but the Dillon. Same pretty much goes for 556. About the only use of RCBS single stage is to take to range to seat bullets in brass when working up a load.
The Redding is the best at everything but speed. It's kind of like having a 7 single stage in one press, with the ability to add another 7 stages with the addition of heads. You can load precision ammunition on like any good single stage.Comment

Progressives are fun! Last night I knocked out .40S&W for this weekends match, 200 rounds in 20 minutes and I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express..Hornady LnL, Dillon Precision, RCBS, Lee Precision and Lyman User
If You want Match or Leadless hunting Ammo check out Monolithic Munitions Yes I am a shill, friends with the owners.

To answer your question yes it is worth it. I use a Star Universal to load pistol, and a Dillon 400 that I got in about 1980 to load rifle. I consider my time valuable, as far as componets if you plan ahead and keep enough on hand there is no shortage.Comment
