I wish I'd seen this before I ordered an RCBS separator from Natchez last week.

As long as that fits in a bucket like this one, there's nothing wrong.

I like that. I have been using a strainer and a 5 gallon bucket. It has little handles and is kind of a pain in the butt but it does get the job done.

I pick them out of the tumbler while watching TV.

                      EUREKA!!

So after a lot of shaking of the strainer and hating it, I found the above idea on the web and decided to give it a whirl.

                      $6.37 later I had this:

I had an old cat box (clean ) and the rest of the stuff I bought at ACE hardware.

I've used it three times already today and it works great! a lot better than the shake, shake, shake of the Frankford arsenal separator.

I went to the local chain drugstore and purchased two containers, one with a lid one with out, one larger than the other..., total cost, less than $5... drilled holes into the one with the lid... sifted into the larger one... voila, separated media...

dirty media, try putting in 2-3 used fabric softener cloths when tumbling and throw it away afterwards...

I use a dryer sheet when I tumble also, it keeps down the dust/static and gives my brass a clean smell!
