Big question..Raw Noodle looking powder?

I just got about 100 rounds of .303 from a friend. He didnt have a .303 so he just gave them to me.

First off on the casing is says "1909 egypt"
I couldnt hear any powder in side so I decided to pull it about.
After bullet removed there was a small paper wad in there. Once I roved that! What spilled out what looks like the raw yellow noodles lol im going to attach a picture in an hour or so.

Did take one piece held it to a flame. It did ignite and looked how is if you lite a fuse.

It should be safe to shoot. It's either going to go bang at the appropriate time or not. Maybe a hang-fire, but only one way to find out ...............

Not sure if it has any special value. Maybe to collectors of headstamps, but can't believe it would be major $$.
