    Question about loading .45ACP

I am loading .45 ACP with the following powder- Hodgdon Clays, along with a zero brand fmj fp bullet. On the winchester web site, under Clays load info, it only has for HDY FMJ FP info, which I assume means Hornady bullets. Does it matter the brand of projectile when reloading? thx

It does matter, however those two brands are high quality and built similar to each other. Make sure the projectile weights are the same for either make, otherwise your recipe will need to change.

Personally, I don't think it matters. Bullet weight and construction is what I load to, I figure the OAL out if the profiles are different.
When asked what qualities he most valued in his generals, Napoleon said, "give me lucky ones."

Same, and I then work up from a minimum load.
