I want to start reloading 40 s&w ammunition. I have the die set, winchester spp, brass and titegroup powder. I have a lee reloading manual but would like to know what bullet/projectile people use for this components. Any suggestions on your favorite load? Thanks

.40 S&W for stock pistols, berry's 180gr .401 flat points loaded with 3.4gr Hodgdon Clays at 1.135" COL.
For STI's .40 S&W, berry's 180gr .401 flat points loaded with 3.6gr Hodgdon Clays at 1.180" COL.
This recipe works with any lead or copper plated .401" TC or flat point bullets. These are what I compete in IDPA with.sigpicTactical Firearms Instructor, Range Officer and Competition Speed Shootist

I didn't like shooting 155 or 165 grain bullets in my reloads....
I loved the 180's though! The lighter bullets were too snappy for my taste!Comment
