What to do with fail to fire rounds?!

I have a lot of failed to fire rounds or else the persons gun trying to shoot the round didn't strike the primer hard enough to fire the round. I have buckets and buckets of this stuff. I finally went through it and pulled out the rounds that were factory new that had no marks on the primer but I still have a couple hundred pounds that has dented primers and bullet still in the case.

Any idea's on how to get the bullet from the case so they can be reloaded?

Many fire departments will take the stuff.

Thanks for the link. I own one of those. I'm talking easily 10,000 rounds. The hammer trick isn't going to work on this one.

I might just have to go for the reduced recycle rate for mixed materials.

How did you get to hundreds of pounds without doing something about it in the first place?

+1! I can pull 4-5 bullets per minute.

If you get rounds where the powder is unknown, then sprinkle it on your lawn. Great Fertilizer!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

Just send them to me and I will correctly dispose of them. I can even come and pick them up.

I'm a General Contractor and had a contract to maintain an indoor range. A lot of law enforcement trained there and because of how they train they would daily eject live rounds onto the floor of the range. Those rounds were usually expensive defense rounds and were still good and easy to identify. Usually amounted to about 250 rounds a month of good clean usable ammo .380, 9mm, .38, .40 and .45 were the most common because they were qualifying with what they would carry.

On the public side people would shoot all kinds of stuff. From reloads to the range ammo sold at the range. In the course of a month during our maintenance operations we would find pounds of ammo that had dented primers and still had a bullet in them. This is what I have a large amount of of.
