.223 reloads measuring between 2.450-2.257 oal

Need help??? Loaded some .233 FC brass with length between 1.745-1.753. In the end I have an oal of 2.245-2.257. Is this ok to shoot? It is cycling normally in my AR15. Thanks

As long as you sized them fine, they will shoot just fine

Yes. I used the LE Wilson case gauge and its a little lower than the high step. I loaded one and ejected it and it went smoothly

Careful doing it with a live round, never know what can happen. I usually will load a dummy (no primer or powder) to test everything. Another thing ill do is make a master of a caliber so if my seating die must be removed I just set it up straight to that.

Since you are measuring by OAL instead of from the ogive you will get inconsistent measurements like that because of the melpat of the bullet.
