    Anyone ever mix powders?

I knew this was bound to happen, but I accidentally mixed ~1/3 pound of international clays with ~1/3 pound of american select.

I thought about loading them in some light 7/8oz 12 gauge loads since the data is very similar between the two powders, but I thought twice. Not really sure how bad an idea that is.

Mixed powders good for anything? Should I just toss it? Should I mix it up with water or something before I toss it?
    Don't panic bro.

Just toss it in the yard. No need to mix with anything. Smokeless powder is a great fertilizer. You might even actually see your grass grow greener where you throw it.

it's a good and expensive fertilizer.

I assume there has to be a reason EVERY RELOADING book I've ever seen has said not to mix powders.

I also follow the directions on medicines, bug killers, and CGF.

Please also review your powder handling practices. It's too expensive and potentially dangerous for this to happen again.

I only work on one calibre at a time, with only one powder out at any time. After a reloading session the remaining powder goes back in the jug and is then put away in a storage box.

Load and shoot it? If you keep your fingers and you're gun doesn't break, let us know

Yes, just reduce from max load by 10% and you will be GTG.

Seriously? Fertilizer? I do have a spot on my yard that could use some extra love.

It does work great as fertilizer, just don't put a lot of it on one spot or you will just make that spot browner, kind of like when that old Blue Tick pounds the same spot over and over... Spread it thinly and water.
