Reloading with surplus powders WC844, WC814

I have loaded some .223 and .308 with both WC844 and "Long Range Match" powders from hi-tech ammo and other like vendors in the past.

Has anyone on here ever used WC814? I would like to use it for some 9mm, 40, 45
I've done a little Google searching and it sounds like its similar in burn rates as Win231 or Bullseye.

I am looking for load data for 6.8 spc using the wc844 and some for the .223.
I will be getting 16 lbs. in few weeks. If I see any data for wc 814 I'll send it to you or post here.

I have had good luck using H335 data for WC 844 for 223 and 308. I'm sure you can use that as well.

I use Thunderbird cartridge company surplus powder in my .223 I'd have to walk out to my shop to see which one but I'm sure I also used it for 30-06 in my garland.
Check cast boollits website they have some good info there most with cast bullets though.

If it's similar to W231 which is a pistol powder, I doubt you can use it in 223. To fast of a burn rate.

It was apparently used for .223 BLANKS. Not suitable for .223 ammo.

Do a search at castboolits in the canister-surplus powder forum they have good info on both powders.

Use W231 data 10% down from the minimum, make sure to check for squibs.

                              Have you done this before?
Not with 814 but it is a common way of starting with an interpolated load value. For example I don't have load data for 4759 in .223 but I do have load data for 4759 in .30-06 and I do have load data for 4895 in .223 and .30-06, so I can use algebra to come up with a minimum 4759 load in .223, but to be safe I take that interpolated number and drop it 10%, then I make sure to check very carefully to make sure the round exited the barrel and there are no odd pressure signs. Do not do this if you are not comfortable doing it.
