    double checking

In a few hours, I'm going to load my first cartridge loads. Here is the recipe I intend to go by.

    9mm Luger 115 gr Speer GDH Speer 1.125 4 CCI 500 American Select 5.4grains 1,102fps

I'll be using range picked up brass
115 gr bullets from montana gold
    winchester small pistol primers

I'll load about 20 rounds then test them out Saturday morning. Am I missing anything? Any tips?

    Thanks
    Don't panic bro.

Everything looks good except you are starting at Alliant's max load. Alliant expects you to drop 10% for start load, that would be more like 4.9gr and work up to 5.4. Maybe do 10 at 4.9, 10 at 5.1 and 10 at 5.4.

Also, you can load them slightly longer, say 1.30-1.35", might help with a more finicky gun feed wise.

Sounds like you have things well in hand, enjoy the fun ahead.
