Shooting it will allow you to reform the case, versus throwing it away.

The Lee Factory Crmp Die will eliminate that phenomenon.

The guys that error on the side of saftey are right ,safety first right? But, the guys that say shoot are also right. I know this case head spaces on the rim,like a .38. If it didn't do that (head spaced like a .308 on the base & sholder) we wouldn't even be haveing this discussion, I'd pull the bullet & toss the case .But head spaceing isn't a problem so it would be no different than fireforming a case for a wildcat. I'am gonna shoot it.
