Is storing ammo in a hot garage or attic going to have a bad effect on my ammo?

As Ghost said... Moisture will be a bigger factor than temp. I personally store quite a bit of my ammo in my garage. It gets pretty hot out there but I've never had a problem.Comment

It depends on what hot is, in your area probably not. I would put the ammo cans in a cooler or other insulated container.Comment

just FYI a garage or attic in Visalia is going to be well over 100 plus in the summer, probably in the 130 degree range during the day. So take that into account, I don't know the right answer to this, but figured people should know he isn't asking about keeping it in a garage in Huntington Beach where its never over 85.Comment
