    Ammo storage

Is storing ammo in a hot garage or attic going to have a bad effect on my ammo?
    thanks, Ken

As Ghost said... Moisture will be a bigger factor than temp. I personally store quite a bit of my ammo in my garage. It gets pretty hot out there but I've never had a problem.

Cool is best, but any ambient temp in a garage isn't going to be an issue.

It depends on what hot is, in your area probably not. I would put the ammo cans in a cooler or other insulated container.

Cool is better than hot. Keeping it dry is the big thing though.

just FYI a garage or attic in Visalia is going to be well over 100 plus in the summer, probably in the 130 degree range during the day. So take that into account, I don't know the right answer to this, but figured people should know he isn't asking about keeping it in a garage in Huntington Beach where its never over 85.

Right, I was going to add that I live lots closer to Hellish temps than you guys do. 130 degree attic in summer easy. So, I'm still good?
                    thanks, Ken
