I haven't bought from them, I kind of thought there prices where a little steep but if you need it bad enough your going to get it. Between myself and my wife hunting down ammo we been doing pretty good getting ammo a regular retail. Every week end at the range in San Leandro there is an instructor teaching classes using LAX, usually see him with 3 or 4 cans of ether 9mm or 40 whatever caliber he teaches with, apparently it's good enough to use for training first timers. -

I though it was fine. A little snappy/hot in 9mm for me, but I have no hard data or anything, just in my and my girlish wrists opinion

I bought 500 rounds .223 online a couple months ago, to be shipped.
LAX uses FedEx Ground, which is the worst delivery service out there.
Package was "lost" (stolen) in the FedEx shipping facility.
When I asked for a refund or for LAX to ship me me more ammo, they said "you agreed to the TOS when you placed your order that we are not responsible for lost or stolen shipments." I was very disappointed to hear this.
After a ten business day wait, LAX filed a claim with FedEx.
I finally received my refund thirty days later.
I would have rather had the ammo.
The LAX customer service rep I dealt with was nice, but I don't think I should have waited for the refund. LAX could have refunded my money immediately and waited for their shipper to refund them.Comment

I recently purchased 9mm, got it less than a week after ordering online. It's a little pricey, but hey it's in stock. I save all my range brass for reloading (someday, when I can get all the supplies I need) & wonder if anyone has reloaded using LAX (new) brass?Comment

They are reliable .40 cal rounds, but loaded HOT. sometimes powder will stick to the projectile and burn as it goes, like a tracer.Comment

My experience from buying both reloads and "factory new" rounds from LAX has been positive with respect to the quality of the product and the price (pre-Newtown). Their reloads tend to be a little "hot" as was mentioned in this thread.
In the past, they've been reasonable on pricing and have only recently raised prices to match market demand. That said, the service from any male employee has always been rude from these folks. I like their product and will continue to be a customer, but pretty much don't expect or initiate anything friendly or polite with them. Just business.Comment

I brought some LAX 9mm at the local gun show back in September 2012 for $85 / 500rds. They were all good to go and 5 bucks cheaper than miwall. I remember the girl there was a bit rude but that's all the bad thing I could say about them. Not sure what the price is like now but I'd imagine lube is required.03FFL - NRA Life Member - GOA MemberComment

As posted in another thread. I've got nothing bad to say about LAX other than the prices & availability post panic, but that's an entirely different conversation.
LAX used to have good prices on their reloads. They even sell/sold them at the local Turner's. I bought 2 500rd boxes for just over $100 each in 2012...... But of course, both price and availability have changed since the panic set in.
I'd also like to note that I've shot almost all of those 1k reloads from LAX, and thus far I have literally only had 1 bad round. Which just happened on Friday (either bad primer or light strike).
All rounds have been fired from a Glock 19 9mm as well, which again the only issue I've with the gun has literally been that 1 round on Friday.
This speaks highly of the quality of both Glock and the LAX reloads. Both are solid and both are/were well worth the price I paid.ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕComment
