    Quality pulled bullets

Is there such a thing as quality pulled bullets? I am looking for some 308 bullets that I want to use in a AR-10 that I am building.

I have seen more than one company that had M2 bullets that were resized and tumbled, but they do not seem to answer the phone or email.

Does anyone know of a source? How do they shoot?

Also, does anyone know of a particular book that would list loads that function well in an AR-10?

    Thank you,

    David

    No.
They are fine for blasting ammo, but will never be good for accuracy.

I have a bunch of pulled, resized m2, m855, and m193. They shoot just about equal to new manufacture bullets of the same type. If you can get them for a good price, and they're resized, go for it. Stay away from River Valley Ordnance...

I heard that the owner died and the wife is trying to keep it going. I read that she is weeks/months behind and is not shipping the same quality of product.

I tried to leave a message but the machine was full. My info is from the net so take it as such. I hope it is not true as I would like 5 or 6K of those M2 bullets.

Search thehighroad, here, and arfcom for horror stories. I had to dispute my credit card charges to get any response out of her.

I got a batch of SS109's from Pats Reloading, some of them had pretty deep divots in the sides from the puller. I was worried they were going to be worthless but I tried them and so far they seem to shoot acceptably accurate. I didn't try them on paper but I hit what I was aiming for at 200 yds. I'll keep those and use them as they seem to work acceptably. Wideners has new production bullets, they're a bit more cost wise but I'm probably going to stick with those just for my own sense of confidence.

Crap. I should have read this thread before I placed my order. The same thing happened to me, CC was immediately charged but no word yet from the company. I heard that thing about the husband's death and I'm sorry about that, though.

But it would be really nice to be able to get a hold of them when I want to, not when they decide to call me back. They called me back on Saturday morning while I was at work. I wasn't ready to make an order, but I made one anyways because I didn't know when was the next time I was going to talk to them.

The worst part is, I've been waiting for a while on my order and now their website and email is down.

Good luck. I hope you have better results than I did. Keep calling. She's there at times and you may get lucky. If in doubt, contest the charge and you'll probably get your stuff a week later.
