Best free reloading page?

What do you guys use? Trying to track down a recipe for a 60gr V-Max, new brass and I would like to use H4198 but my RCBS manual has a load using H4895 or H414. I have a little H414 but I planned on using that for my Garand. Bought the H4198 thinking it would work. Pretty sure its in the Hornady manual (I snuck a peek when I bought the powder). Did I get the wrong stuff?

And yes, I am totally new to this and my google-fu is weak today. I took a reloading class a couple of months back but I just today set up my bench. Rockchucker bolted in place and I looking to get going.

handloads.com is pretty good, but the powder manufacture is always a good place to start then the bullet manufacturer's print good books.

A network of friends with different manuals is a good place to start. Getting a JPEG of the page with the correct bullet / powder combination to print out and file in a binder for future reference is a good thing to have.

Factory data and a chrony are your best friends. Everything else is conjecture.

A little of everything helps. Between books, Internet recipes and manuals you can put things together.

don't have a chrony yet but i make educated guesses mostly at loads that are difficult and see how they perform. if they shoot well, i don't f with them. if they don't, i ask Pop, "do they sound weak?" "too much bang?" etc. always check your work, as in, look at fired cases for signs of too much/not enough pressure. pay attention to how your gun behaves as well. sticky bolt, easy bolt, loud/quiet report when fired. if you know your gun, you have half the battle won. and buy some goddamned reloading manuals.....
