    Can I reload these?

Well I scrounged up some brass from the local indoor range. Most of it looks decent.. but these CCI 45 ACP casings all have the same small dent in the same place. Are they too dented to reload safely do you think?

    45 Dent 2

    Question # 2:
Just received and tumbled 1K of once fired 9MM brass.. but didnt do my homework before I bought them. 500 are Winchester NT +P+, the others are A-MERC. I read that the A-MERC is "garbage" and should have been avoided. Having loose primer pockets, flash holes not cut in center, etc. I looked in quite a few of mine and the flash holes are not dead center. Will I have a problem depriming these? Is the brass quality enough to even bother?

    A-MERC Brass

    Thanks for looking.

As long as your sizing die has a tapered opening, it will certainly fix those messed up case mouths.
I KNOW my dillon dies fix those.

Your picture of the Amerc cases shows the primers, not the flash holes.
Offset primer strikes is a gun problem, not an ammo problem.
Have no fear, they should reload just fine.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks for the reply. The AMERC pics were just to show what brass I was using. I could not get a decent pic of the flash hole close enough to show it having been drilled/formed off center. The off center primer strikes were just a coincidence.

What do you think about the dents in the side of the 45's? They usable, or tossers? You can see a slight dent on the inside of the cases if you look in them.

      Thanks.

        Don't worry about those dents.
Get your 1911 flared and lowered and it won't do that as much.

I am amazed at what brass looks like before and after full length sizing. That brass is good to go as AR15 Barrels said. Just be sure to sort it good. I found an autorim case in my 45 brass tonight, I could not for the life of me figure out what was holding up the case from sliding into the turret.

These were "range droppings." If I figure out who is leaving them I will let them know.

Thanks for all the replies. I will put those cases in the line up.

It looks like those 9mm were a little hot. Looks like pretty good pressure signs on those primers. I aggree with the others....those 45's should be just fine.
