    primed casings question

    Hello All
Quick question, Is it legal or not to sell primed only casing that you made at home. I have 95 on the bench and was wondering about getting rid of them along with a bunch of other fired casings or should I remove the primers?
    Thanks

IANAL but I don't see why not. You can sell primers, you can sell brass, you can sell ammo........
My mother always told me to be careful what you ask for.

Just one more piece of parental advice I stupidly ignored.

not really, you could but would have to sell them as reloading components, otherwise you would need a 06FFL.

Not only can you sell primed brass, you can send it as non-hazmat via UPS or Fedex.. Not certain about US Postal though..

              Well, soon to be hazmat.

              Primed cases ship like ammo.

Actually, primed cases do not ship like ammo.. ammo has to go ORM-D, I am pretty sure Primed cases do not since there is no powder involved..

ORM-D is going away for Hazmat, DOT wanted to simplify designations. DOT considers the primer dangerous.

I looked into this before but I could be mistaken.
