    need help on 77 grain .224

    try to test new load on imr 4064 .77 grain .224. check hodgdon web and they have 20.0 - 22.7(c) compress but lyman 49th handbook said 22.5 - 25.0(+) compress. with one to follow? that big different between. thanks

    Use Lyman it should be fine. I use 24.3 for 60 grainers. Keep looking for pressure signs along the way.

      I generally use the powder manufactures website for my loads...

      But it’s wise to look at a few load manuals and see what is being recommended. I would also pay attention to what they use as their test weapons (barrel length, twist rate, primer, COAL, and case)
