Besides the quantities available (and possible packaging differences) I don't see where the difference would lay.

They seem to be the same projectile at same (stated) velocity by the same maker.

This wouldn't be the first confusing (seeming double post) by SG that I've seen. Not to run them down... their prices are usually decent (rarely great), the shipping is pricey, but they often have stuff you won't find elsewhere and their customer service is great. Can't beat their return policy, though it probably doesn't apply to ammo.

Perhaps someone wiser in the world of factory loaded ammo will be able to help.

Thanks. I'm only gonna buy from SG because I have a $10 off coupon. Even without that though, I can't find a better deal on XM193. Can you?

I don't think you'll go wrong buying from SG. Like I said, I've bought a lot of stuff from them. The "crap" I got was expected to be that, but it was unique crap. Their shipping is based on purchase price, not shipping weight, so you may or may not benefit on something like ammo.

Depending on shipping, you might save by buying the same stuff at Natchez for $.03 more per box. I noticed they have a limit of 25 boxes per person.

If you're just looking for 55 grain .223 and want a slightly better price, you may want to look at the Natchez sale on PMC Bronze or regular price S&B. I have no experience with these two loads, but they save you a buck a box.

I get the Natchez sale flyer every so often and noticed these prices today or yesterday. While it may be a good price today, it's tough for me to get excited about $7/box .223.

Once I have small rifle primers again, I will be LOADING .223.

Buying loaded ammo is too expensive unless it's for a class or something where you can't use reloads.
