COnsidering getting into reloading...need some help

I'm seriously considering getting into reloading my own ammo. I've been trying to do as much research as possible. I've been reading and watching videos for the past few weeks but it's never the same as seeing it in person.

Is there anyone in the LA area willing to let me come by and watch while you reload some ammo? it could be pistol or riffle ammo.

finding reloading gear and components are going to be your biggest obstacle. Start buying them now or get on a waiting list.

I suggest getting a book called ABC's of Reloading. Read and read. You don't need to watch it in person.

Fieldtime sports in oc has a reloading class on the weekends, it would be very helpful for you. But my advice is to not get into reloading now, everything you need to reloading is impossible to find or way overpriced

Reloading is fairly simple if you have common sense. caution and basic mechanical ability. The first thing you should do is buy a Lyman #49 and a Hornady loading book. Study up. All you are doing is returning a fired case to a loaded cartridge. A case gauge and a new unfired cartridge to compare your reload to is nice have when you are learning.

yeah, i've noticed the prices. it's still cheaper than buying factory loads right now.
