    .308 blems from midway

I just got my .308 " blemished" projectiles from midway, box of 500. Actually had over 500 in it and there's not a single noticeable blemish on any of them . I haven't weighed everyone of them but they all look uniform and perfect, stoked that they got here so quick to. My WFT trimmer should be here tomorrow according to tracking info. Anyone else get in on that stock of blemished .308?

    .308 blems from midway

Update: of the sampling I just weighed, most were 150 gr right on the dot with a max variation of 150.3 and a min of 149.8

Now I just need some more RL-15 and primers

I swore I'd never buy from Midway again, but I saw this on another board on Sunday and jumped on it. Pretty good deal since Hornady 150g 308 seem to go for $25/100 last I looked. Now i just need the appropriate powder for these and I'm good to go.

On the downside, I was shorted and only got 497 out of my 500 bullets I did, however, get five 95g pistol bullets. Anybody here reload .380?

I have a pound of RL-15... just looking for SPP.

I just got my .308 FMJ blems, they do appear to be first quality. I did not have time to count them, will do that when I get back from military duty. I'll post the count only if it is short.

They look nice. But they are different lengths, The cannelure is not in the same spot, and if you check out the bottoms the copper jacket wrap around is inconsistent. Should be fine for plinking though.

Like you I also snagged a box. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised.

The imperfections are so minor that they should go down the bore just as good as the originals. Here's a photo of a random 50 I pulled from the box.

Anyway...here's a dearth of reasoning to ponder: http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Guns
