Ok, I spent a ton of time reading around trying to figure out how I could reload living in an apartment. One thing that helped me with ideas was was seeing others rigs so post them up! Here is my new setup it's about 20 minutes old so I don't have my press and powder measure setup but check it out:







It's just an unfinished oak tv stand I had an extra shelf put in. It cost me like $140. The stool was like $30, I wanted something that wouldn't allow me to lean back and get distracted. The stand is on wheels and the stool should fit on the top so I can roll it to a closet when not in use.

Be careful about using that tumbler indoors. They will put lead dust in the air from the spent primers.

Looks great guys. I just got my press set up the other day and loaded my first rounds last night, successfully. All went boom with no problems. Still getting all my stuff and putting together the bench and accessories.

That is a slick case trimmer you have on the middle left Dillon!!! Is that press' only job to trim, chamfer and debur brass? (using the other open stations)

I bet that beats the snot out of hand trimming brass.

Thanks for the pic - I live in constrained space and have been mulling over getting into reloading, but everyone else I know has these huge reloading benches. Nice to see it's possible to put something together that takes up minimal space and isn't an eyesore in your living space...

Did you have to make any tradeoffs based on size for some of the gear you were buying, instead of getting the "one you really want" that wasn't going to fit? (just curious)

Yes.
That 650 with the casefeeder can lube, decap, size and trim about 600 rounds per hour.

The edges of the case mouth are just square and don't need to be deburred.
The trimmer cuts so cleanly that there are no burrs to worry about after tumbling to remove lube.

Me thinks you go through a LOT more ammo than I do, but that is a real testament to the going the 650 Route for volume.

Like I said before... pretty slick.

Less compact and tidy, but it only cost $30 at Dixieline for the table, and a block of wood and some clamps.
