You will need a 380 die.
While a 9mm is 9x19 and 380 is 9x17 the 9mm has a gradual taper while a 380 is a straight wall case.I will share my opinion and my load data, BUT I am just a guy with too many cigars and too many guns. Whatever I say is probably wrong. -

You are right when it comes to belling seating and crimping the same dies can be used. You do need a different resizing die though. Yes, I knew the sizing die wouldn't work, probably anyone who has had a 380 hitchhiker in his 9mm range pickup has felt that difference.
It was just new news that the crimper wouldn't, so I guess I didn't learn anything today yet...
