I heard some "expert", probably self-appointed, at the range recently talking about ammo and he was saying that Blazer Brass is not good for reloading, something about it being weaker than what you need. I think he was full of manure, but as a fairly new reloader I need to know if the BB is good to go.

Other than being inconsistent with all of the LPP .45 ACP brass when reloading multiple brands, is there anything functionally undesirable about SPPs in .45 ACP?

nope, just stops my RCBS piggy back. I have started getting/picking up so many I started to save them in a box and when I get 500 + I will start reloading them. I just hate having to sort them
but I just started to reload 6.8 SPC and now I have the same problem some LRP and some SRP

On the surface, it certainly would appear that way, but then, everyone has different expectations, so one man's junk is another mans treasure.
An example of this might be this: Here on these threads there is a very experienced loader who throws away R-P headstamps. He hates them. Although I don't know this for a fact, I assume he shoots jacketed and his sizing die is likely a little on the generous side. With that combination, R-P suck, because they are usually quit a bit thinner, so you get poor neck tension in he above circumstances.
On the other hand, if you shoot a lot of lead, like me, you probably prize R-P for the same qualities others hate it.
Reloading is a tolerance buildup game, analog all the way. When someone is giving you answers that will fit on a bumper sticker, it just means they are not seeing the whole picture, all the possibilities.

Blazer brass is okay...
Blazer aluminum cases are not. I think your "expert" was passing on second-hand info without the knowledge base to back it up.
