Is there anything else I am missing for reloading a bolt-action .308? Intend to begin loading for .223 as well as a few other calibers (depends on the guns I receive from family soon, as I and my uncle are the only two passionate gun owners.)

Case trimmer and a full length sizing die

Can you please explain to me why I need a FL die? I was told by everyone I spoke to that only neck sizing was needed for .308 bolt-action. I was under the impression that the case prep trio acted as a case trimmer also (darn).

I was told the same thing but if you're buying once fired brass you will more than likely find that some rounds will not chamber. If you're using new brass and only firing out of one specific gun you should be just fine with the neck sizer only. The brass will fire form to your gun. I bought once fired 308 and found that some cases were slightly expanded (not visible to the naked eye) at the base and the bolt would not close.
I'm not familiar with the case prep trio. You may be able to use it as a trimmer but it doesn't look like it would be that precise. I'm sure someone who has one can chime in and advise if it will suffice.

A 4-5" funnel.
RCBS pump spray lube for the FL sizer die. They lied to you about not needing one. IF loading for hunting be sure to FL size the brass. You do not want a problem in the field.
Graphite neck luber which mounts on the bench.
A Dillon Super Swager and lee hammer style deprimer punch(or a deprome only HD die) if you use any mil surplus brass.
A electronic powder measure/scale(if not in the kit).
More than one reloading block.
Plastic ammo boxes.

Why 2 different brand shellholders for the same cartridge?

More reloading manuals(Lyman) and if using Barnes bullets you need the barnes manual because they use different data due to solid construction.
Labels for the ammo(Midway has them)
Notebook to record your data and results.
Allen wrench set,screwdriver,wrenches and pliers for making adjustments.

If using 2 presses then you will need to readjust dies each time you switch presses. Must better to get 2 sets of dies and use one set on each press.

Containers for brass/etc storage. I use the plastic shoebox size boxes I get for $.99 at the dollar type store. They stack well.
Cleaning media and media additive.

OH and newbie IF you put your location in you header then someone could offer to help you. If you are near me I would help you. Been reloading many years. Have 4 single stage presses and 2 Dillon 650XL's

Nobody has mentioned projectiles, ie bullets. I didn't see that in your original list. I also like to use Hornady one shot lube and their manual is tops in my mind. If you want consistent loads and accurate ones, then trimming the brass to the same consistency is important for neck tension. Also, if you intend to utilize miltary brass, then a primer pocket swager is good to have.

I forgot to mention that with primers, powders, and brass. I guess you can say I am set though because I will get 500 Speer 165 gr. bullets from the RCBS rebate, but also plan on buying Sierra 168 gr. Bullets.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have a lot of shipping boxes that I use to place the brass in. Cleaning media will be purchased at the pet store (Crushed walnut shell is what I'm leaning towards). I purchased 2 shell holders for the hand primer and one of the presses. Why do you recommend an electronic scale? Is there that much of a difference between the mechanical and electronic? Thanks once again.

If using pet store media be sure to buy additive for it.
This is just me but I put a shellholder in with the dies set that I adjusted with the dies then I do not have to fish around and possibly have to readjust dies. I load for over 35 different cartridges so it helps me.
You modify the funnel to use with the Uniflow measure for more uniform charges.
