This shortage makes me sad =(

I've just recently started purchasing firearms, and started shooting no more than a couple years ago.. I was spending way too much money in ammunition hehe. So I decided to invest into reloading. I just got my Dillon 650 after a 3 month wait. To find out I cant seem to find any bullets/primers/powder that isn't on backorder =(. Just wanted to express my sadness on how difficult it is to continue in a wonderful american tradition...

I feel your pain, its been almost 3 months since my last trip to the range. I don't shoot nearly as much because of the cost of ammo and that I want to keep a minimum supply at home.

doing some searching and web-browsing can produce the components your looking for.

What exactly are you in the market for...A friend of mine just got into reloading also, and I gave him 2k rounds in brass to help him start up, we both went to the gun show so I could replenish some supplies, and he could start stocking up on his. We found everything he needed except .224 bullets.

net work, barter, and research... you will find what you need, and not at some insane price either...

I agree with this guy. You really have to stay on top of things, but they do pop up at "pre-panic" prices.

I was lucky enough to snag multiple 1 pound Varget containers from MidSouth.

I agree with the above with respect to powder, but I think primers are in pretty short supply. I have been looking religiously for CCI BR4 or 450's and haven't stumbled on any. But I do have IMR4895, H4350, and Varget on the way though.

Best bet is to backorder some powder and primers, and while waiting continue to look for everything, that way you eventually have some show up on your door step and will more than likely have stuff on hand just from multiple trips to different stores on days they stock the shelves

Forget about the gun show. In the last two months, I've bought bullets, primers and powder online...all at pre-panic prices. You have to check regularly and be ready to act FAST.

Powdervalley has powder, pre-panic prices. It's going fast though.

Bullets you'll see pop-up, but you have to be on top of checking sites.

                          Primers... good luck. :/
