I'm an experienced loader with a single stage press. I've recently started loading with the AP. I've loaded over 1k rnds of .40 so far with outstanding results. I would like to start reloading .224 but don't have the #16 shell plate yet. I'm not to interested in paying $100 for one either.
I've already deprimed/primed 200 .223 cases using the .40 shell plate and haven't seen anything out of the ordinary.
My question for all the grey-beards is: can you see there being any issue using the .40 shell plate for .223?
