And your reason for not coming up to the Glass Factory to shoot steel out of your AK or SKS with us is? No excuses dude. If you are in Ventura, Glass Factory is less than an hours drive away and we need you at the May 11th cleanup. We will finish quickly and then lets shoot some steel cased ammo at my steel targets!

I shot 200 rounds of Golden Tiger up there last week, it was fun, although Golden Tiger seems to be worth almost as much as brass these days.

I have no excuse for the last cleanup. I just simply did not wake up early enough, nor did I make arrangements for a ride.

My excuse has been transportation in 2013, and before that my excuse was work.

I have plans to be at the next cleanup. Either with family or catching a ride with RedMonkey.

That said, if anyone is interested in an AK, let me know. I'm strongly considering selling it, both because of the ammo difficulty and because of my present financial situation.

Get a backorder in on Bruno's for Lapua, if you so desire. Not exactly cheap, but it's boxer primable.

            range

I FOUND 40 brass cases at the range 2 weeks ago.... it was in front of my bench so i thought id sweep it up.... the RO,s always appreciate cleaning up before you leave...... i always try to leave with more than i brought... my brass always seems to eject into the range buckets too...glad no-one before me was shooting my cal. and dumped it in the buckets... just my cal. of the day though....i do have scruples...cheers...

Ya know, the Yugo M67 milsurp shows up from time to time on the WTS board. I think $.40-$.50 a round, Berdan primed and corrosive but better than almost $1/round for new stuff.

What would a case (500) of PMC factory FMJ be worth to you?

Not as much as you're probably going to ask, and certainly more than I can either afford or am willing to pay. But thanks.

                    Now that that's settled...lol.

But you're prolly right. $0.50 per round is kinda high, but another Calgunner thought it was fair enough that he picked them up last night. Even bought me a beer.

I sold some Winchester brass a few months ago, but don't have anymore. Heck I need to buy some more ammo for my AK myself. If I come across any I'll let you know
