    Primer pocket depth?

I just recieved my sinclair primer pocket uniformer, and used it on about 10 cases. I measured the depth, and they were all .133 exact. I looked up the specs on primer pocket depths, and they were .128 to .132. Are these at 133 ok, or is this to deep. This is my first time with this so any help would be great.

It really depends on your primmers. If you got some a little on the "tall" side, slightly deeper primer pockets would be a good thing. Typically, you want your primers seated 0.002" below the case head.

I use a Sinclair uniformer on all of my LR primer pockets and have twisted my way thru a few thousand .308 cases. All have gone bang with WLR and 210M primers. All primers seat nicely below the base. FWIW

I just went back and reset my caliper. When I checked them again they were all .132 so i guess they are perfect. Thanks for your help anyway, like I said Im new to this, but I am getting more dialed in every day. hopefully soon i will know enough to help someone else out.
