22lr in Orange County

Anyone in Orange County know a good source for cheep name brand 22lr. The Wal-Mart near me doesn't carry ammo and I don't see the savings in driving from gun shop to gun shop wasting gas.

Any good/cheep places to shoot rim fire in Orange County?

Check big 5 and turners for sales. That or go to the oc gun shows. Thats your only good source for anything around here. Nothing is cheap in socal, but you can shoot 22 at any of the ranges.

Look at the bi5 ads sometimes they have coupons for 22 ammo

Just call around to all the local gun stores. I normally go to google and search for gun stores and then hit the maps button and then call everyone close to me. I have found some real good deals that way.

The Wally World in Lake Forest always has the Federal and Remington bulk packs. Same for the one in Orange near Tustin & LIncoln.

We'll take an occasional long lunch from work and shoot here as well

WalMart in Orange has Dynapoints (500 rounds) $13.00 from Winchester and Red Box bulk (550 rounds) $11.94 from Federal. Both shoot well in most guns and are a lot cheaper than the average ammo.

+1 to the Orange and Lake Forest (Foothill Ranch) Wally World. I live next to one and work next to the other. They almost always have the Remington and Federal bulk 550rds in stock.

I go to the OC Indoor range in Brea and On Target in Mission Viejo, but pretty much any range let you shoot 22LR.
