    Shotgun Reloading Newbie ?

I recently inherited some shotgun reloading equipment and supplies. While I'm familiar with rifle reloading, shotgun reloading is new to me. My Inventory is a Mec Loader, remington Power piston wads r12l and winchester aa wads WAA12 and Waa12f1.
    Primers are Remington 209 Premier
Powder Hercules Red Dot shotgun powder, Dupont Hi-Skor 700x and a little winchester 452aa ball powder.
    shot #8
    Also lots of Remington shells.
Im looking for a recipe to load some trap shooting ammo.
    Any Suggestions

    Thanks

Alliant website for Red Dot recipes
    Hodgdon for 700X recipes

Unlike metallic cartridge reloading, you don't "work up" loads. Follow the recipe for hull, wad, primer, powder load and shot weight and you'll be safe.

Get the Lyman's shot shell reloading manual, should be plenty of loads in there.

          This.

Plus, shotgun world dot com forums is a good place to pick up advice on which loads actually yield desired results. The recipes the powder manufacturers publish are safe pressure wise, but many won't load to a tidy shot column and pretty crimp, let alone pattern in your gun.
