Shoot it? Store it? Sell it?

I got a few hundred rounds of steel cased hornady .223 75gr BTHP Training rounds stored away. From my understanding, these are used to train for the 75gr TAP.

Now I would probably never go and plink with these but I'm not quite sure I would use these rounds if my life depends on them. I have the real 75gr TAP but not much of them.

Should I shoot them? (really expensive plinking ammo)
Store it? (Maybe for SHTF that would never come, and might not be reliable enough?)
Sell it? (and for how much?)

If it is training ammo then train with it.

Sounds like a 'for sale ad' to me.

So, the wrong place to post your ad.

Does anybody else train with this ammo? Have you had any failures?

Sounds like he's asking for advice.

It sounds like you have doubts about the ammo, I would sell/trade. Then get something you are comfortable with.

In this environment, sell steel, shoot brass.

all ammo is at a premium so sell the steel since it can't be reloaded.

Shoot brass so you can at least reload it. That is assuming that if you sell it you will still have enough to shoot.

and your question is? why wouldn't you shoot it if you aren't going to put it your stash. or put it in your stash and be done. in essence shoot it or stash it.

I shot 500 rounds of this stuff out 2 different ARs. All cycled just fine.
